I've been selected as one of the Creative Industries Council’s #CreaTechUK Ones To Watch 2021!

Selected by a panel of industry leaders, funding bodies, and experts, this annual list showcases 100 outstanding CreaTech businesses from across the UK working at the intersection of creativity and technology.

My arts platform Vital Culture UK was born out of struggle. We started out as 2 stand-alone livestream shows, from a laptop in a front room, in April 2020 at the height of lockdown. The shows were developed to uplift marginalised, northern UK artists and make it impossible for anyone to deny the talent we have here. Now over 40 live shows later, over 80 local artists featured to thousands of viewers from Bradford to Baltimore & Beyond, we are one of the top 100 creative tech companies to watch in the UK.

I would just like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has collaborated with, featured on, watched, shared, spoken about, recommended, funded and supported us since our inception. This is a win for all of us. WE ARE VITAL!

The CreaTech 100 Ones to Watch provide an annual showcase of innovative UK-based companies which are creating new business opportunities in B2B and B2C at the interface between creativity and technology. They help us to explain this dynamic new part of the creative industries to investors, ministers and the industry at large, and to demonstrate British creativity and ingenuity.

The full list was launched at the CreaTech day at London Tech Week on September 21.
