Panel Title: How Does the Craft of Theatre-Making Survive?
Time: 10:25 – 11:15 AM
Location: London + Online (hybrid)

I’m excited to announce that I’ll be speaking at The Stage’s Future of Theatre Conference this April, joining a powerful lineup of industry leaders to explore a critical question:
How do we ensure the craft of theatre-making survives—and thrives—in a rapidly changing world?

As theatre practitioners navigate funding cuts, digital disruption, and shifting audience expectations, this panel brings together multiple perspectives—from traditional institutions to independent voices—to reimagine sustainability, creativity, and care in the sector.

I’ll be joining:

  • Graeme Farrow (Chief Creative & Content Officer, Wales Millennium Centre)

  • Marc Silberschatz (Director, School of Stage & Screen, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland)

  • Lilac Yosiphon (Theatre Director)

  • Moderated by Jamie Hale (CRIPtic Arts)

Together, we’ll dive into:

  • How to protect the artistic core of theatre in the face of structural challenges

  • The role of education, accessibility, and new media in shaping theatre’s future

  • What sustainability really means for artists—and how to build it

The conversation couldn’t be more timely, and I’m honoured to represent Vital Culture UK as a voice for immersive, digital, and community-rooted storytelling.

Follow along with the conversation at @thestageuk (IG) and @TheStage (X), and don’t forget to tag #FutureOfTheatre.

🗓️ Add it to your calendar and join us if you can!
